ILLY ART COLLECTION BY MARIA JOÃO CALISTO (2002) – ESPRESSO

The author of this collection was selected in 2001 from students of the “UNIDEE Università delle Idee” school-workshop at the Pistoletto Foundation. In this collection, two subjects confront each other: Nature versus Technology. Nature is represented by water, while Technology is represented by the illy web site. Even if the main goal of those using these cups is to drink coffee, they still function as a means of communication and heightened awareness.
